I definitely debated if it was worth the $50-$70 for a planner (plus $7.95+ shipping), especially because I work in fast food and am a poor college student. So my sister and I ordered each others planners (that's one way to avoid guilt). It has definitely been worth the money and will more than likely be ordering again next year. The set up for the weekly pages is perfect for me with the morning/day/night titles and make it easier for me to make a to-do list for the whole day instead of being overwhelmed by all of the stuff I have to do throughout the day. Sometimes I even find myself writing in tasks I have already done so I can cross more stuff off and feel more accomplished at the end of the day (I know i'm lame).
I have been using the lines at the bottom of the weekly pages for what I had for dinner. I am thinking of using that space for something different since I have started a separate health journal.
For bigger lists or more important information like school schedules, doctor info., goals for the year, monthly/weekly/daily cleaning lists and passwords there are multiple lined pages and blank pages at the end of the planner.
If you are the type of person who likes to include your friends and families birthdays, included in the back of the ECLP is A TON of birthday stickers, as well as, a page that has stickers for appointments, vacations, games, days off, parties, as well as, mani/pedi stickers. They also include 2 full pages of blank stickers. Plus, they are reposition-able this year!
If you have ever looked up Erin Condren Life Planner's on other blogs or Pinterest, chances are you have learned all you could possibly know about washi tape and every kind of sticker known to man. I enjoy decorating my planner for special occasions like Christmas and my birthday. Although, for a weekly basis, it is a little bit too much for me. It seems somewhat less functional when you have 15 owl stickers on one weekly spread. I tend to decorate empty boxes once the day is over, making it both cute and functional. I have found that the sticker printables from http://mswenduhh.blogspot.com are both amazing and functional, and the best part, most of the to-do printables are fitted perfectly for the ECLP boxes (she even shows you how to make them into stickers). I tend to use functional stickers more due to the fact that I don't think I have the whole "planner decorating" thing quite down.
If you are the type of person who want to decorate their planner, or you're not, the Erin Condren Life Planner can change your productivity immensely (mostly because it's the prettiest planner I have ever purchased in my whole 18 years of life).
Included with the "Classic" ECLP's, you get various gift tags, personalized labels to match your original cover, "Let's Get Together" cards, forget-me-not perpetual calendar, the new clear bookmark, as well as, a couple coupons for your next purchase. I have purchased the "Keep It Together" bands and the pen holder separately. I would high recommend the bands if you are going to carry it around with you. The pen holder would be more useful for someone who sticks to one color pen (unlike me who has to use about 15-20 different pens), but for now it is good for grocery shopping.
My only complaints on the Erin Condren Life Planner are:
1. THE SHIPPING TAKES FOREVER!!!
2. Bubbles seem to form on both the front and back covers easily. (They offered me a reprint or $10.95 credit for the inconvenience)
3. I feel like I rotate the coil a lot.
If you would like to order your own Erin Condren Life Planner, you can use my referral link where you will get $10 off your first purchase and I will get a $10 credit once the referral link is used (a coupon code will be sent to your email and can take up to a couple of hours to be sent).
