I have also been using this small cross body bag that I purchased from a little boutique in Temecula a couple months ago. It holds the little things that I can't live without, like a pen, my wallet, keys, my lipstick from the past week, bobby pins, hair ties, any extra medication (lactaid and aleve), a couple wet wipes, tissues and the occasional lollipop. The stuff that is normally in this bag switches from my bigger purse to my backpack and back to this smaller bag.
For my wallet, which is actually probably my favorite wallet that I have ever owned, it is the Kate Spade Cobble Hill Wristlet. They have changed the design of it a little since I have been the owner of one of these beautiful wristlets. I like to have my keys attached to it so that I can easily find my keys and be able to take one thing in with my if I just want to stop in the grocery store on the way home from school for a minute.
I don't keep much on my keys, but one thing that I will keep on my keys for as long as I live in my pepper spray. Even if I never use it, it's there just in case I ever even start to feel unsafe. I go to a big school with dark parking structures and I work at a fast food restaurant and have been known to get off at midnight. It is a very important thing to always have with me.
To start off with what I keep in my main purse, I basically carry my life with me everywhere I go. So, I obviously carry around my Erin Condren Life planner (If you want to know more about that make sure to check out my previous post) and all of my pens just in case of emergency planning. The case for all of pens and stickers for on the go is actually the e.l.f. essentials signature make-up bag. I actually carry two of these cases simply because they are amazing! They are cheap, spacious and are amazing quality.
Speaking of the best makeup bag/pen case/emergency kit ever. I use the black version of this bag for an emergency kit because it is reasonably small and can fit so many supplies that you use everyday and would have an issue trying to go a day without.
Since I am the clumsiest person I know, as well as, lactose intolerant and asthmatic, I have to carry many things like probiotics, lactaids (I have many different types), my inhaler, many sizes and types of band-aids and for those days (more like everyday) that you spill your coffee on your favorite shirt on your way to work or school, you have to have a Tide to-go pen. I also keep things like fashion tape (for fashion mishaps), nail files and nail clippers (since I get hang nails EVERYDAY), wet wipes, Aleve, more hair ties (I manage to break hair ties on a daily basis), a mirror, hand sanitizer and soap sheets (you do not want to get stuck without soap in a nasty bathroom), a small thing of perfume and some e.l.f. shine erasers.
If you couldn't tell by now, I have a lot of pouches and small bags in my purse to keep myself organized. This next one I got a Ross a couple years ago, so unfortunately once again I have no idea where you can find one like it. However, I can say that is perfect for storing febreze to go (lets just say, smelly situations are NOT something I enjoy, but then again, who does) and my favorite body lotion of all time (at least for right now).
And for my last pouch, it is just this basic make-up bag from Wal-Mart that holds any loose lip products that would normally be all over my bag and a small hair brush for my enormous hair.
Now, for the loose stuff in my purse. I try to limit this to as few things as possible. I just keep more wet wipes in a plastic bag ( just to let you know, they don't work well when they are dried out), cough drops (these ones actually taste somewhat good), an extra phone charger since my phone seems to die at the worst times possible and the cutest package of tissues ever.
Last but not least, in the side pockets of the bag, I like to keep things like my spare car key (hoping that if I ever manage to lock myself out of my car that I have my purse with me), a purse hook (for gross floors), a couple extra pens and pencils, extra bobby pins, another travel perfume and my check book (that I have never used, but my mom insists I need to have it with me). In the very front pocket of the larger purse I keep about a hundred pens.
As you can see, this bag may be huge and carry a TON of stuff, but to me, this stuff is all necessary. I'm always that person that has everything for everyone. I'm ok with that though. I would have something unnecessary with me than be stuck in a bad situation. Now if you don't think that I don't carry enough stuff with me on a daily basis, let me know if I am missing something crucial!
